Cabinet Painting in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Updated: Oct 30, 2019

Cabinet Doors on Drying Rack: Once the doors are dry, they will be ready to be put back up on the cabinets. Painting cabinetry is a multistep process. First, the doors are cleaned from any grease or dirt that might be on them. Second, they are primed with an oil base primer. This will help with adhesion. Then they are sanded and coated with an washable acrylic finish. Each side receives multiple coats and needs to dry before flipping. That is one reason why painting cabinetry takes a little longer to finish. 😎❄️
